Barcelona - enjoy the world’s largest boulevards

Barcelona, which is located on the Mediterranean coast in the East of Spain, it is a Welcoming, Innovative, Pioneering, Gothic, and warm City. Since it is situated in the shores of the Mediterranean it always has a warm welcoming climate. The temperature of course is pleasant through out the year.

One of the finest attractions to be visited is La Rambla; you can take a walk into La Rambla and enjoy the world’s largest boulevards, and believe me it is worth seeing. Also Barcelona features the largest collections of the artists Picasso and that of Catalans which attracts art lovers.

Barcelona's Airport is 12km southwest from the city that is in El Prat de Llobregat, a town on the fringes. There are two terminals for flights to operate, one serves for the Spanish airlines and the other is for non-Spanish airlines (national and international). Almost thirty two international airlines are operated from the airport with straight flights to more than 80 destinations. There is a range of transportation available to and from the Airport.

If you take up flights from Venice, Milan,Dublin, Shannon etc, they do charge an additional £15.10. Some of the other flights that operate to and from Barcelona are delta airlines, monarch and others.

It takes around two an half hours to reach Barcelona from London. The Fares are around $180 to $250 including all taxes and other fares. For a seven-day trip, it will cost you around $450. The cheapest fare is approximately $280when traveling from New York City to Barcelona.
