The Allegiant Airlines was founded in 1997 and is certificated by the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) as a “Scheduled Air Carrier” with authority to fly scheduled and charter airline operations throughout the U.S. The Company also has authority for charter service to Canada and Mexico. The Allegiant airliners currently operate a fleet of 12 aircraft including 2 MD-87 and 10 MD-83. Aircraft in the Company‘s fleet have been selected based on their operating characteristics; reliability and suitability for the airlines scheduled and charter flight operations including range and passenger capacity.

The Allegiant airways provide outstanding customer service. The Allegiant airways is a 100% ticket less airline, with simplified reservations and customer “open seating” on all flights. Other customer amenities include comfortable “3 and 2" five-across seating (80% of seats are the preferred window and aisle seats), no over-booking of flights, and competitive fares including discount fares with no advance purchase, minimum stay or round-trip purchase requirements.

The airline, through its Allegiant Vacations affiliate, also provides attractive and affordable complete vacation packages. More than 30 hotel properties are featured in Las Vegas and 21 in the Orlando and Daytona Beach, FL area. Allegiant Vacations also offers Alamo rental cars in both Las Vegas and Orlando, as well as various tours, attractions, and theme park activities in the Orlando area making it easy to plan and purchase your entire vacation.

Allegiant airways currently have two contracts for track programs with Harrah‘s Entertainment, a major gaming company. One contract is to provide an aircraft in Laughlin, Nevada for charter flights to over 125 different cities across the U.S. and the other is to provide an aircraft in Reno, Nevada to various U.S. cities.
